Posted on celestial bodies

The object of my verbal and photographic digression is a poetic project and dialogue with the space, with light and especially with the public, a dialogue not only visual but also physical because it is shared intimacy . I’m talking about Soledad Sevilla installation, specifically designed for Crystal Palace in Madrid, which is entitled “Written in the celestial bodies” (Nov.2011-Abr.2012).

The effect obtained by Soledad Sevilla is to create a second heaven: the exterior with its sun, clouds and light inside that is created based on the outside and which embodies a universe “DarkBlueAlmostBlack” of signs where there is space to wonder, to question, to silence, to slow the pace and the murmur. All this could be lived inside the Crystal Palace, leaving his glass door and looked back inside to catch a last glimpse of that magical space, another universe opening the doors: the installation of Soledad Sevilla becomes a sky full of snow coming down on the exterior landscape and visitors who are inside the palace.
